At the bottom of the account selection screen is a button that will send you to the device’s built-in support for adding a Google Account. We do this to ensure that the AdSense Dashboard is never responsible for performing authentication on your behalf, nor does it keep a copy of your credentials - the device manages all authentication.

This keeps your account safe and secure.

After choosing your account, you’ll be asked by your phone whether to allow the AdSense Dashboard to authenticate to AdSense; your phone will then hand us a token we can use to communicate with servers once that authentication is complete.
